Today was warm.

Perhaps global warming is to blame for today's 68 degree weather.
Note: We're 3 days away from December.

Back 2 School

Thanksgiving break was aight. I liked being home and doing nothing. Seriously nothing. I tried as hard to do nothing for as much of the time I was home that I could. I'll explain in a minute.

So Thursday came, and at Dave's house we eat dinner late. Unlike some of the 3 or 4pm dinners that some have on Thanksgiving, we started eating at around 8:30, which may be the earliest of any year I've been there. There was plenty of food and a plethora of desserts, and i was able to eat lots of chocolate after 5pm for like the first time ever. We went home, and me and my sister watched Elf. Then it was time.

I went and picked up Dan and Max, and then Jared. We were on our way to the King of Prussia Mall at 4am. After a quick
stop at Dunkin' Donuts, we were parked by 4:30am and in the mall. The whole night/morning was a blur, to be honest. I just remember walking a whole lot, including going outside to transfer between the two main building, and peeing a lot from the coffee I drank.

Of course Bloomingdale's and Diesel had no sales whatsoever. They were the reason that I went, so why would the
y have? McDonalds breakfast at 10:59am was clutch, but cold and hard since we got the last breakfast food available. Driving home was insane. I was fucking tired, but I just wanted to get home. At red lights I was dozing off, and Dan and Max were both sleeping. I wish they were awake so I would be alert in a teamwork effort of some sort, but I can't blame them for being tired. I was spraying that new Listering PocketMist into my mouth constantly to keep me awake. Like 8 sprays at a time, every few minutes. Then I finally got home, after being awake for about 27 straight hours and driving a lot. It was one of the more difficult experiences in my driving career, and I hope to not do it again for a while.

All in all, a disappointing day with the purchases, but quite a fucked up experience, regardless.

I got home , slept for 5 hours, then went out for Hibachi. Then we went food shopping and to Target, which is my type of Friday night. I went home and did more nothing, which included watching Seinfeld DVDs for 5 hours. People called me to do shit, but I wasn't leaving my living room/kitchen. Ron and Jordan came and watched TV too. They must have been pretty bored.

Saturday I was back at the mall. Freehold this time. My sister wanted to go. I bought some shit this time, such as sweet sock s at Uniqlo. It's a new store, and it's good. Matt, Ryan, and Ron were at the mall, too. Well Ron came to eat food, and then I ate some of his. Same deal that night, though. Kindergarten Cop was on TV, and from that point I knew I was staying in again. I watched that, then some more Seinfeld on DVD, and then Alf on DVD. It was awesome. Again I turned down going out for staying in and doing nothing.

And there was a Full House marathon on ABC Family today. I forgot how much I truly love that show. The epsiode where Stephanie drove the car into the kitchen was on today. Then I came back here. I'll be done in less than 3 weeks.

Turkey Day Break

I'm going home tonight, then coming back to go to King of Prussia Mall at 4:15am on Friday, then going home again, and then coming back to Pennsylvania again on Sunday.

You can call me. I'll be around.

My ride.

NYC this weekend

It's official that Jared and I are the gayest, straight, non-couple of all time.

We went to New York and spent more than 3 hours shopping in Macy's, Bloomingdales, and Barney's. All is well, I got a sweet Paul Frank Hoodie from the Andy Warhol Collection.

So we got to the city, ate some ridiculous pizza in Grand Central, shopped, hung out with L Hall for a little bit, got sushi, went to union square for 10 minutes and rushed to catch a train back home at 12:37.

SoHo kind of reminds me of where I live in Philly.

Today i bought candles and pillows at the Freehold Mall. An average weekend back home. I'll be heading back to jersey in less than 48 hours, looking forward to Turkey. Seriously.

Black Friday at King of Prussia in about 4 days...

60th and Park Ave in Manhattan.

18 November 2005

High of 74 yesterday, high of 45 today

Cold weather is fucked up, but i kinda like it. Riding today was intense.

Parka and wool coats + scarves + gloves = I'm happy.

No to mention they're putting up Christmas lights all over the city. I love it. I'm Jewish, but it's okay.

Heading home tomorrow, than to NYC on Saturday. Haven't been there since i worked there this summer. We'll do something good there, like buy art.

The semester's almost over, seriously.

They're okay in my book.

17 November 2005

Of course i got caught in the rain today

It was fucking ridiculous. I've never been out in rain that hard. It lasted about 3 minutes, and I had an umbrella, but by the time I walked one block my socks were already drenched.

But I saw Murder By Death tonight at the church, and remembered how much I like that band, which is good.

Class tomorrow, and then home Friday.

Jared devouring his steak burrito.

16 November 2005

..Get some Lean Cuisines

Today was good. It rained. I avoided it by getting out of class early. I want it to rain at night.

We got Qdoba tonight. Half price. We're getting it Friday, too.

Good news, Sigur Ros didn't go on sale yet in Atlantic City, so I'm all up on that. Also, Coldplay is playing Continental Airlines on March 25th and I would like to go. Ticketmaster doesn't give a shit though. Let's see if I can beat the system on Saturday morning.

It's fucking 70 degrees out, and my room is hot as shit. Fan's gonna be on HIGH tonight.

We live on a nice block.

First full day of being 20... SUCKED

Not a good way to start the week either. Sick and out of it all day, with two papers to write. Plus I stayed in for pretty much the whole day because when I went outside I felt freezing, even though it wasn't that cold out.

How I felt today.

14 November 2005

HOLY FUCK

EDGEBREAK ROUND TWO: If you weren't falling down the stairs, you didn't break edge properly.

My birthday is over. But goddam, was it a good time. Without question, the best night of my college career, so far.

Apparently I'm cool enough to gather quite a crowd at my apartment, and people actually like me. It was one of the best nights of my life, and I fucking deserved it. I wish some other people would have been able to come, but they tried.

Regardless, the party was insane from the hours of about 11-3:30.

Here's a few pictures which may be able to sum up what exactly happened here last night:

The Last Days of Being a Teenager Pt. Two

Capogiro just opened around the corner today, which is good because I like that place. It's bad because every time I go there, it's five dollars for high-class ice cream.

I haven't been able to wake up normally for about 3 weeks. I hit the snooze on average 3 times every morning, and it's making me late for work and/or class. I don't know what is wrong with me. This happens even when i sleep for 8-9 hours.

Tomorrow's the big party. People are coming out. It's going to be a good night. I can feel it.

The roomate who gets me.

The Last Days of Being a Teenager Pt. One

It was really windy today and I was almost blown off my bike while riding to school.

The OC is getting pretty ridiculous, once again. Apparently, next week is the episode that I can't afford to miss.

Birthday party in two days...

Fourth of July in Colts Neck, NJ.

Thunderstorms ALL DAY WEDNESDAY

Yeah, it just started thundering now, at one in the morning. Fuck the weather forecast, i wasted almost 3 dollars on the subway today for no reason.

Seems like a lot of people are too good for my birthday. Well most of those people can go fuck themselves for all I care. Some people are coming out of the woodwork and to my surprise, and to them I am grateful.

I'm sleeping in...until 9:15.

Here was my best attempt at capturing the storm from my windowsill.

09 November 2005

Poblano Pesto Burrito, Pinto Beans, Salsa Verde, Cheese

Me and Jared had a buy one get one free coupon for Qdoba tonight.

I bought a new light for my bike today, since i broke mine yesterday, and then i fixed my broken one afterwards. It may go up for sale on craigslist.

I dont have class until 2:40, but i'm heading to campus at 8:30 to finish a project. If that's not dedication, i don't know what is.

08 November 2005

Me and Matt just got back from Delaware.

The Delaware River, that is. We decided to ride there tonight and hang out and explore some shit.

Today was Monday, I woke up 6 minutes after my first class started, turned on the TV to see that the transit strike was over, grabbed an orange juice pack from the fridge and rode to school.

Monday at 12:30 is Chinese food lunch time for me and Jared. Worked in the library, then in the production studio for a little while.

I got out of night class tonight over an hour early, and decided it was a good time to take some pictures and stop in H&M. I got a t-shirt there.

Then me and Matt went for a ride and I got back in time to watch most of Seinfeld, which is always a good thing.

I kinda want velcro shoes

My birthday's coming up, and for the occasion i ordered some DVD's tonight: Home Alone 2, Heavyweights, and Little Giants, each of which I have on VHS but want on DVD. They'll all be playing at my party on saturday.

I got my bike fixed today, and in the process found out the name of one of the really weird people of this neighborhood. His name is Geoffrey, and you may see him riding his bike around and listening to music really loud on his big headphones, all while singing at the top of his lungs in his really nasaly voice. He is most likely between the ages of 23 and 57.

Carly came yesterday so me and Matt hung out with her in love park for a little while, then I rode to South Street to look at velcro shoes, and then went to the Greyhound station to see her off back to Scranton.

Pizza bagels from Trader Joe's were good, but made me feel like i weigh 963 pounds. Their frozen berries still rule.

New Curb Your Enthusiasm in 5 minutes, so today was alright.

I'm actually going to have to do a lot of work this week, which sucks. I await Thursday.

Jones

Me and Jared ate a sweet dinner tonight at Jones. It's a good thing we go to nice restaurants, because it is almost like we live the high life. But a kind of gay one, because we always do everything together.

This weekend had really nice weather, but I didn't do much and was bored for most of it. It's made me think about a lot of really annoying shit, and I don't like doing that because than I get depressed and contemplate about things that I don't need to worry about right now.

I got my first pair of corduroys ever today, and i like them a lot. I also get my bike back tomorrow which is good. I'm also going to get a nice cold beverage of some sort, and go to H&M and exchange my umbrella, in case you wanted to know.

I hope next weekend is more eventful than this one has been.

05 November 2005

Timeless like a broken watch

Drunk people are annoying. Especially the ones who frequent the Irish Pub, which is three doors down from me, and is the reason for pretty much any and all noise on my street. It's 2:15am, but it doesn't matter.

It's going to be nice all weekend. Too bad my bike is in the shop, yet again. Tomorrow seems like a good day to go clothes shopping.

On a side note, there are less than five full weeks of class left this semester. That means finals are approaching, but I don't think the workflow will be too bad until then. I have a lot of deadlines coming up soon but I'm on top of them this time.

My birthday is about a week away. I'll be 20. That means no longer a teenager. I don't really care. I don't know how many people will show up to my party. Hopefully some.
